Music Tools is the name under which two freeware applications were created, Guitar Tune and Simple Note Test. With thousands of downloads, they have become popular music applications, mirrored on several major software databases and used by students and musicians alike all over the world.

Guitar Tune v1.0
Tune a guitar of both standard and drop-D tuning in seconds, play each note individually or together. Guitar tune generates the sounds for you so no microphones are needed.

Simple Note Test v1.0
Test your ears against the scale of C-major by selecting the correct note of the random sound generated.
